This Privacy Policy explains how Prism Blast (the “Game”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information when you play it. The Game is published on Google Play under the package name com.study10x.blockblast and is operated by Study10x (the “Developer”).
By installing or playing the Game, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Game.
1. Summary
- You can play the entire Game without signing in. Your progress is stored on your device.
- Every install is given an anonymous ID by Firebase so your progress can be backed up to the cloud. This ID does not identify you personally.
- Signing in with Google is optional. If you do, we receive your Google name, email address and profile photo so your progress can follow you to other devices.
- The global leaderboard and live 1v1 multiplayer show your display name and score to other players.
- The Game is free and supported by ads served through Google AdMob, and offers optional in-app purchases processed by Google Play.
- We use Google Analytics for Firebase to collect anonymous, aggregated usage statistics. You can turn this off in Settings > Privacy.
- The Game is for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13.
2. Playing Without an Account
You can play the whole Game – every mode, level, daily and weekly challenge – without signing in or providing any personal information. In this state your progress (levels, scores, coins, gems, boosters, achievements and settings) is stored locally on your device.
3. Information Stored Locally on Your Device
- Gameplay progress – levels completed, high scores, best times, combo records and play statistics.
- Virtual items – coins, gems, boosters, unlocked board themes, achievements, missions and daily-reward streaks. These have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for money.
- Settings and preferences – sound, music, voice and vibration options, selected theme, reduced-motion, analytics opt-out and notification preferences.
- Purchase and ad-free status – a local record of entitlements you have bought (such as removing ads), kept in sync with Google Play.
You can erase this data at any time from Settings > Reset All Progress in the Game, by clearing the Game’s data in Android settings, or by uninstalling the Game.
4. Sign-In, Anonymous ID and Cloud Save
Anonymous ID. On first launch the Game creates an anonymous identifier through Firebase Authentication. This is a random ID that does not contain your name or email. It is used to back up your progress to the cloud (Firebase Realtime Database) and to identify your row on the leaderboard and in multiplayer matches.
Sign in with Google (optional). If you choose to sign in, your anonymous ID is linked to your Google account so the same progress follows you to other devices. For this we receive and store your Google display name, email address and profile photo. This information is used only to show your account inside the Game and to sync your data. You can sign out at any time from Settings, which returns you to guest (anonymous) play on that device.
Google Play Games (optional). If you connect Google Play Games, your achievements, saved game and leaderboard scores are shared with that service under Google’s terms, and your Play Games identity may be linked to the same account.
Cloud save. When you are signed in (anonymously or with Google) a copy of your gameplay progress and purchase entitlements is stored against your ID in Firebase so it can be restored on a new device or after reinstalling.
5. Leaderboard and Live Multiplayer
- Global leaderboard. Your display name (your Google name if you are signed in, otherwise a name or generated handle set in the Game), your total score and your level are stored in Firebase and shown to other players on the leaderboard.
- Live 1v1 multiplayer. When you start a match, your display name and your live score are shared with your opponent for the duration of that match through Firebase Realtime Database. There is no chat, voice or image sharing between players.
6. Permissions the Game Requests and Why
| Permission | Why it is used |
|---|---|
| Internet and network state | To back up and sync progress, run the leaderboard and multiplayer, load ads, process in-app purchases and check for updates. |
Advertising ID (com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID) | Used by Google AdMob to serve and measure ads and cap ad frequency, and by Google Analytics for Firebase for aggregated analytics. See sections 7 and 9. |
| Notifications (Android 13+) | Only to show optional local reminders to come back and play. You can turn these off in the Game’s settings or your device settings. |
| Vibration | For haptic feedback during gameplay. No data is involved. |
7. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The Game shows a banner on the game screen, full-screen (interstitial) ads between rounds, and optional rewarded video ads that you choose to watch. Ads are provided by Google AdMob (the Google Mobile Ads SDK). To serve, cap and measure ads, Google and its advertising partners may collect and process:
- Your device’s advertising identifier (Google Advertising ID).
- IP address and coarse, non-precise location derived from it.
- Device and app information such as device model, operating system version, language and network type.
- Ad activity such as impressions, clicks and viewing time.
This information is processed by Google under its own policies. For details, see the Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. Google’s advertising partners are listed at support.google.com/admob/answer/9012903.
Your advertising choices
- Reset or delete your Advertising ID in Android Settings > Privacy > Ads.
- Opt out of personalized ads using “Ad personalization” in the same menu. You will still see ads, but they will be non-personalized.
- EEA, UK and Switzerland: where legally required, the Game asks for your consent choices for personalized advertising through Google’s consent screen, and you can change them at any time.
- Remove ads. Buying the “Remove Ads” in-app product stops all ads.
8. In-App Purchases (Google Play Billing)
The Game offers optional purchases, such as removing ads, a starter pack, and coin, gem and theme packs. All payments are processed by Google Play. We never receive or store your payment card or billing details. We receive only confirmation that a purchase completed, plus a purchase token used to deliver, verify and restore the item (including through your cloud save). Refunds are handled under Google Play’s refund policy.
9. Analytics (Google Analytics for Firebase)
We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the Game is used and to improve it. It collects anonymous, aggregated events – such as game starts, level completions, feature usage, purchases and screen views – together with a non-identifying app-instance ID, device and app information, and coarse location derived from IP address. These events are not linked to your name or email and are not used to identify you.
You can turn analytics off at any time in Settings > Privacy > Share Anonymous Usage Data. Data is processed by Google as described in the Firebase Privacy and Security information and the Google Privacy Policy.
10. Google Play Services
The Game relies on Google Play Services for core functionality, app integrity and delivery of the advertising, billing, Firebase and Play Games services above. Google may collect data as described in the Google Privacy Policy.
11. How Information Is Used
- To save, back up and restore your game progress across your devices.
- To run the global leaderboard and live multiplayer matches.
- To display and measure advertising and to control how often ads appear.
- To process, verify and restore your in-app purchases.
- To produce anonymous, aggregated analytics that help us improve the Game.
- To keep the Game secure, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
12. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. Information is shared only:
- with our service providers – Google (AdMob, Google Play Billing, Firebase Authentication and Realtime Database, Google Analytics for Firebase, Google Play Games and Google Play Services) – so that these features can work;
- with other players – your display name and score are visible on the leaderboard, and your display name and live score are shown to your opponent during a multiplayer match;
- where required to comply with the law or to protect rights, safety and the integrity of the Game.
13. Children’s Privacy
The Game is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
14. Data Retention and Deletion
- On your device: data stays until you reset your progress, clear the Game’s data, or uninstall the Game.
- In the cloud: your cloud save, leaderboard row and entitlement records are kept while your account is active. You can request deletion of your cloud-saved data and account by emailing aibyexpert@gmail.com from the address linked to your account, or by using the deletion instructions at aibyexpert.com/prism-blast-account-deletion. We will action verified requests within 30 days.
- Advertising and analytics data collected by Google is retained under Google’s policies. To remove advertising data linked to your device, use the Android ad settings in section 7 or contact Google.
15. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict processing of your personal information, and to object to certain processing, including under the EU/UK GDPR and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). You can exercise most of these rights directly through your device settings, the in-Game Settings screen, or Google. You can also contact us at aibyexpert@gmail.com and we will help where we are able. We do not sell personal information.
16. International Transfers
The third-party services used by the Game may process and store data on servers outside your country, including in the United States. Those transfers are governed by the service providers’ own safeguards.
17. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be shown by updating the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, by a notice in the Game. Continued use of the Game after an update means you accept the revised policy.
